Dortmund is a city in the North Rhine–Westphalia Land state of western Germany. It is located at the southern end of the Dortmund-Ems Canal. Dortmund has extensive port installations. Transport Information

Dortmund airport (DTM) is home to several low-cost airlines (easyJet, Wizzair, Air Berlin). This facility mainly serves national and European travellers. There is no direct train or tram connection to the airport, however there is a shuttle bus between Dortmund Central Station or Holzwickede Station and the airport.
