Sometimes referred to affectionately as just Kiddy, the town of Kidderminster in Worcestershire lies in the Wyre Forest district. Just seventeen miles from the centre of Birmingham, the town has a rich history and is the birthplace of the modern carpet industry, which was founded there in 1785.
