The state of Mississippi is located in the southern region of the United States of America. The capital of Mississippi is Jackson. It is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, and Arkansas. The Mississippi River separates the state from Louisiana and Arkansas. The largest airport in the state is the Jackson-Evers International Airport, located just outside the state capital. Other airports include the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport, the Golden Triangle Regional Airport, and airports situated near the cities of Greenville, Hattiesburg, Natchez, and Tupelo. The easiest method of getting around Mississippi is by automobile using Interstate Highways 20, 55 and 59.
